It isn't too early to start making plans for your Operation Holiday collection drive. Church, company and neighborhood drives are fun and a great way to collect needed items. Collection boxes can be picked up at the IFM administrative offices, 829 N. Market.
Church youth groups, scouting troops, sports teams and other groups of young people can host doorhanger donation drives by just putting out doorhangers one day and returning at a later day to collect donations. If you are interested in organizing a doorhanger donation drive, or would like more information please contact Anna Bohr at (316) 264-9303.
Volunteers are needed to help applicants apply for Operation Holiday. Application dates are November 6 - December 1. One hour long training session will take place October 16-18. Contact Ashley Davis at (316) 264-9303 for more information and to get involved.
Other opportunites to volunteer include data entry, warehouse setup (November - December 13), assisting at distribution (December 14-16), and warehouse cleanup (end of December).
